LESS THAN 500 WHAT?

Ever had a shit job, or one that is made worse by morons?

Do you find your life dictated by bullshit targets, jargon or

the feeling that you are wasting your life making money for someone else?

Our press name comes from one such piece of nonsense. An unrealistic target, some upbeat newspeak, or corporate claptrap, that means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but for some of us, decides what kind of day we might have, or how much of our soul we have sacrificed as we crawl out of the office at the end of the day.

'Now we the working population

Hate the fact that eight hours a day

Is wasted on chasing the dream of someone that isn't us

And we may not hate our jobs

But we hate jobs in general

That don't have to do with fighting our own causes

We the working population

Hate the nine-to-five day-in day-out

When we'd rather be supporting ourselves

By being paid to perfect the pasttimes

That we have harbored based solely on the fact

That it makes us smile if it sounds dope'
